Merle Gilbertson

Support Specialist
Merle joined Allegiance Software in June of 2002 after spending three decades in computer programming/information services in the healthcare industry. At the time, Merle says he didn’t expect his career path to move into the business of fundraising software. He notes that early on, helping with fundraising drives for Prairie Public (the public TV and radio affiliate in Fargo) helped him see things from a customer’s perspective. Merle says the best part of his job is talking to people all over the country and getting the opportunity to solve their problems with Allegiance products and services. As for what sets Allegiance apart from the competition, Merle says that besides the quality of the software, he’s proud to say it’s the support, which is available 24/7. He notes that as a small company, Allegiance employees work very well together and truly care about customers and about getting their problems solved.
