Steve Carlson

Senior Programmer
Steve joined Allegiance Software in June of 2004 as a senior programmer. He serves as the main programmer for the Traffic & Corporate Support system and also focuses on adding enhancements and additions to the Major Gif ts module. Steve says he really enjoys the creation and development process, noting that all of Allegiance’s programmers can add their knowledge and experience to the company’s products. That, he says, keeps the creative juices flowing and “keeps things fresh.”

Doing just that – keeping things fresh – is challenging in an ever-faster and ever- changing industry. “The desire to do more with less really fuels the ideas that our users have to streamline processes and make their operations more efficient,” says Steve.

He notes that the two top things that differentiate Allegiance from the competition are its staff and its clients. Everyone at Allegiance, he says, plays an important role in providing a quality product. As for clients, he says that Allegiance has a relationship with them that encourages suggestions and enhancements. While not every idea can  be incorporated into the final product, Steve says that Allegiance tracks and reviews requests on a regular basis and tries to accommodate as many as possible.
