Matching Gifts enables you to maximize the amount of money received from companies who match the gifts of their employees. This essential application give you tools to:

Segment donors who are connected to a matching gift company
Select and solicit matching gift donors who have match forms outstanding
Append more than one company match to the same pledge (e.g., a husband and wife whose employers both matched)
Automatically create a relationship which maintains a donor base to solicit for future matching gifts
Store information on matching gift company accounts within the same database
Log each company’s maximum match amount per year, per person and per campaign
Maintain a relationship between the company and all the individuals they match
Interface to a general ledger account and print audit trails
Link all matches with the original member gift
Retain all matching gift history even if the donor no longer works for a matching gift company
Generate reports, such as aging reports, fulfillment reports, and matching gift donor reports

HEP Development Services Integration

Three HEP Development Services products, now available through Allegiance, integrate with the Matching Gifts and Web modules to help you maximize matching gift revenue.

HEP Employer Find: This tool reviews an export of your database to find companies in your file who match gifts. In addition, you will receive any detailed information regarding the companies’ matching gift programs. Using a new import and the Matching Gifts module you can easily add this information to your Allegiance database.

HEP Auto Match: Similar to HEP Employer Find, this product screens your file to find donors who have provided employer names. It will determine if those employers offer matching gift opportunities. Then, using the Allegiance Matching Gifts module, you can automatically create the company account, if it does not exist, and the relationship between the donor account and the employer account when importing the file.

Gift Plus Online: This customized search tool can easily be added to your fundraising web pages to give your donors the option to quickly search for their employer to see if the company will match the gift. The donor will automatically receive specific company matching policies, instructions and often, the necessary forms needed to obtain the matching gift. Plus, the company information will be added or edited, the relationship between the donor and the company will be created, and a matching gift pledge record will be generated.
